Our trip to Mallorca was nothing short of unforgettable — we truly weren’t prepared to fall so deeply in love with this island.
We started our journey in the beautiful coastal town of Port de Sóller, staying at the stunning Hotel Espléndido — a stylish seaside hotel perfectly positioned right on the promenade, overlooking the bay.
Blending historic 1950s architecture with a fresh, Scandinavian-inspired design, the hotel feels effortlessly modern yet deeply connected to its surroundings. Light-filled interiors, minimalist details, and relaxed coastal elegance set the tone from the moment you arrive.
The location is truly unbeatable — just steps from the beach and harbour, with cafés, restaurants, and the tram to Sóller right outside. Waking up to those panoramic sea views (especially from our balcony) was an absolute highlight of our stay.
Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, with that unreal balcony view over the bay that made every morning feel special.
The little touches in the room—like a basket with flip-flops, high-quality toiletries in the bathroom, and fresh fruit—made everything feel even more thoughtful and welcoming.

Dining and drinks were another standout — fresh, delicious food and beautifully made cocktails that matched the relaxed but elevated atmosphere of the hotel. We also had two breakfast options to choose from: a buffet style and an à la carte menu, depending on how we wanted to start the day.
Overall, it’s a perfect balance of design-led comfort, incredible service, and one of the best locations in Port de Sóller. A place where the real luxury is the setting, the views, and the feeling of being completely present by the sea.
