Today I would like to share with you Best Christmas Markets in Ireland which are going ahead this year!
Personally, I love Christmas Markets and I was upset that they were cancelled last year. I am hoping to visit at least one, maybe two this year.
So let’s get started!
CONFIRMED CHRISTMAS MARKETS IN IRELAND 2021!
Galway Christmas Market 2021
We had a chance to visit Galway Christmas Market in 2019 and it was amazing. I am hoping that we will be able to visit it this year.
Galway Christmas Market is happening in Eyre Square from Friday Nov 12th 2021 and runs until Dec 22nd.
Opening hours are: Monday to Wednesday: 12 midday to 8pm, bar until 10pm, Thursday to Sunday: 10am until 10pm
What can we find there: 32 metre high Big Wheel and Carousel, Santa’s Express Train, live music performers, French pastries, pretzels, and delicious Mulled Wine!
Waterford Winterval
Waterford’s Christmas Market will be running from Friday November 19th until Thursday December 23rd.
Waterford’s market will run for 5 weeks and include the Continental Christmas Market Quarter (John Roberts Square / Broad Street), Elfstival Festival Family Quarter (Arundel Square), The Ever-Greenway Quarter (The Apple Market), Christmas Cultural Quarter (Great George’s Street / O’Connell Street) and the much-anticipated Winterval Wonder-Events Quarter (The Viking Triangle).
The Wexford Winterland
Te Wexford Winterland Festival takes place in Wexford Town from Saturday 21st of November until Sunday 3rd of January.
We can expect things such as: Wexford on Ice, Santa’s North Pole Experience and more.

Wicklow Christmas Market
The dates for Wicklow Christmas Markets are Nov 27th & 28th Dec 3rd 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 16th , 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st in between 10am-7.30pm
The Markets offer The Santa Express, Fun with Elves, Meeting Mrs Claus or Eco Ice Skating.

Belfast Christmas Market
I know Belfast is not Ireland but it is only 2 hours away by car so it could be a good trip for a weekend.
Belfast Christmas Market will take place between Saturday 20th November and Thursday 23rd December.
You can expect amazing food and lots of fun.
