Hi guys! Last week at this time I was drinking coffee and we were thinking were to go as we both took a day off at work. On Friday we found out that the forecast on Monday was 27 degrees and we knew, that we will have an extra busy weekend so we’ve decided we need another day off 😉 If you want to know more about what we were doing that weekend, stay tuned. As I said, on Monday we had a day off from work. We stayed the previous night in our friends house, so we’ve decided to go down the country and this is really how we end up on Brittas Bay beach. We didn’t really have an idea where to go 🙂
This beach is one of the most beautiful sand beaches in Ireland and it is usually very crowdy. We were really surprised to see that many people there! We would expect them to be at work or something 😉
We also didn’t expect to go into the water. Not too far, just up to our knees but it was enough to get my jeans totally wet 😀 I was really happy that I had spare clothes in the car so I could change them.. Also as you can see on the picture, I had a real fight wind – my hair.. Unfortunately, I wasn’t the winner 😉
Also, can I just say how much I love those green bushes around the beach?! That was like a perfect spot for pictures! 🙂
People at work told us, that we have waisted our day from holiday leave, but if I am being honest with you – that was one of the best days ever! 🙂
